A lovely place to visit on a warm spring day. They offer a reasonably good house white wine. Sit outside and enjoy your drink!

I have been going here for years. Consistently delish homemade food at reasonable prices. This place never disappoints. You must save room for dessert here.

I was looking for a caterer to provide lunches for a 2-day meeting. One of my participants required gluten-free food. From the time I first called to the delivery of the 2nd day lunch I was extremely pleased. The ordering was simple, the menu was flexible to accommodate special dietary requirements and preferences, the delivery was on time both days, the food was delicious (we had the soup (delivered in a crock pot to keep it warm) and sandwiches the first day and the Greek chicken and rice with Greek salad, pita bread topped off with chocolate chunk cheese cake and country chocolate cake (New York cheese cake that was gluten free). Everyone was very impressed and the cost was 1/3 less expensive than caterers I have used before and the service and food wasn't as good as this! Highly recommend this caterer!!.

Delicious menu selections and numerous daily specials. The carrot soup and spinach quiche were perfect. Lemon tart was a sublime combination of tangy and sweet. Service is excellent, bike parking is safe, and the UC also supports poets and painters in the neighbourhood.

Not your typical cafe! This restaurant is perfect for brunch, lunch or dinner and incredible reasonable prices. The food will not disappoint and I strongly recommend that you try their specials!

One of Edmonton's hidden secrets. Low key but tastefully simple. Prices for food are excellent! Take the kids across the street to play until the food comes.

Fantastic food with great authentic atmosphere and awesome food to boot! We had their bison burger and cod and chips, which were both delightful. Not to mention this place has already cemented its reputation as an institution. I’m not even from Edmonton, but always go there every time I’m in town.

Decent food. Decent atmosphere. The staff was polite. It just wasn’t anything special. I wouldn’t mind coming back but I wouldn’t be excited about it.

A very well kept cafe, with much more to offer than just crust! This charming setting has everything from take home frozen lasagna to delicious sandwiches made fresh to order. I really enjoyed the option of ordering from the counter and being seated with a menu in hand! The sandwich I had was delicious and I'm looking forward to visiting again!

Amazing place! Almost fine dining at a very cheap price. They had a really amazing menu that was suitable for I think almost pretty much every single diet. I ended up having their crab cake salad. While it wasn't as filling as I had hoped it was a very decent portion. And the crab cakes actually had decent portions of crab where you taste the meat. Their Bakery portion was also pretty amazing. Server Sarah was awesome.

We used to visit the Upper Crust Cafe frequently over the years. After moving away we decided to go for dessert when we were back for a visit. I was so happy to see the quality of food and great service had not changed. The lemon meringue pie was the right amount of tart and sweet.

Delicious food; everything I've tried on the menu has been great. But it's the potato salad that always brings me back to Upper Crust. I love coming here for a simple sandwich and a side of the best potato salad I've ever had. Add a side of potato salad to your meal, or take some home with you - you won't be disappointed.

The soup and sandwiches here (and the potato salad) are exactly what you'd like for a nice, classic lunch. The service can be slower when it's busy, but overall a really delicious place to eat. I recommend treating yourself to a lemon bar while you're at it!

I started using this company for catering last year when my usual caterer left town. Upper Crust is always on time, always over-delivers, always reasonable on price, and always a hit. They do gluten-free VERY well and at a very reasonable price. I recommend this place very highly for work or personal catering events. I hope to enjoy their restaurant soon, as well.

Have never been for a meal but never tasted a bad dessert here. Chocolate chunk cheesecake last time was superb

Great food, nicely prepared and preesented

One of my favorite sandwhich places, lots of different combinations you can get and great fresh made bread (recommend a seafood sandwhich on the cheese bread, so amazing!). Good pricing and big sandwiches overflowing with ingredients. Lots of nice desserts as well too that are great for splitting or getting a full pie or cake to take with you.

The food was very good, the atmosphere was also good. The parking in that area of the city is horrible, to say the least.

I have been here many times and I have never been disappointed by the food. It's very good and consistent. Also, it's my favorite place to go to for desserts. When there's a special occasion or someone is visiting from out of town, it's the first place I think to take them.

This is an Edmonton Institution, been here for as long as I can remember. Eating here feels like eating at home, just good old fashioned quality meals. They’re also our go-to when we need a cake, pre-order recommended.

In my regular rotation for both dine in and for catering functions; the food is homey and the desserts are irresistable.

Absolutely delicious, comfortable dining atmosphere at corner of 109th. But layout and patio greenscaping makes you feel like you're blocks away from the traffic. Lovely place for a tasty meal and leisurely tea/coffee with gourmet desert. 'special' tea/coffee available. We'll be back!
